The Classic Leash is 152cm (approximately 5 feet). It's the ideal everyday walking length — enough slack for a comfortable loose-lead walk, and enough control for busy footpaths, traffic, and off-lead transitions.
Can I attach my poop bag holder to it?
Yes — the leash has a dedicated D-ring specifically for this. Simply clip the Bisous Poop Bag Holder (or the Travel Water Bowl carabiner) onto it and you're set. No fumbling in pockets mid-walk.
Is it suitable for large dogs?
Yes — the Classic Leash is built for all breeds and sizes. The clip is a strong metal carabiner-style hook rated for powerful dogs, and the nylon strap is reinforced to handle the force of larger, stronger breeds without stretching or fraying. The padded neoprene handle is also wider than a standard leash handle, which distributes pressure across your wrist and palm rather than concentrating it — particularly useful on walks with a strong puller.
How do I clean it?
Hand wash in cold, soapy water or pop it in the Bisous Laundry Bag on a cold, delicate machine cycle. Hang dry. The neoprene handle and nylon strap are both adventure-proof — salt water, beach sand, and mud are no problem.
Does this work with the Bisous Smart-Fit Harness?
Yes — the Classic Leash clip attaches directly to either the front or back D-ring on the Bisous Smart-Fit Harness. It's designed as part of the same walk kit, so the sizing, clip strength, and aesthetic all work together perfectly.
Can I use this leash with a collar instead of a harness?
Yes, the clip attaches to any standard D-ring collar. That said, we'd recommend using the leash with the Bisous Smart-Fit Harness for active walks, especially if your dog pulls — a harness distributes pressure across the body rather than the neck, which is much safer for your dog long-term.
