You wouldn’t wear ill-fitting shoes, as that would be really uncomfortable, right? The same concept applies for your dog’s harness. Make sure the harness size isn’t too tight (as in digging into their skin - that’s no good) and you also want to ensure the chest strap doesn’t sit too close behind the front legs (aim for about the width of 2 fingers between strap and leg).
If the exact measurement of your dog’s neck or chest (without a two finger buffer) is at the maximum measurement, the harness size will not fit as it will be too tight. Please allow space for two fingers between your dog’s body and the tape measure to get the correct size.
We suggest sizing up as long as your pup can still comfortably fit within the neck and chest measurements.
A no-pull harness is one with a front clip on the chest plate. The idea behind a no-pull harness is to steer a dog towards you when they start to pull. The front clip uses their pulling force to turn them around, helping your doggo realise that pulling doesn’t get them the result they want and is not the easiest way to go forward. A no-pull harness + some good ole’ walkies training is the best way to stop your dog from pulling on walks.
Hand wash in cold, soapy water or machine wash in a Bisous Laundry Bag on a cold, delicate cycle. You can also use a lint roller for any fur that gets caught inside the inner mesh padding.
Yes! The Smart-Fit Harness has reflective strips on the harness body which are visible at night. Because there are 2 d-rings, you can also clip your leash to 1 d-ring (front or back) and then attach a small LED light (such as a keyring light) to the other d-ring for added visibility and safety.
This is our second harness for our boy. He loves it, and so do we. The grab handle is very useful to get our small dog out of any difficult situations. Highly recommend.

This harness is amazing. It’s super high quality, it fits on my dog comfortably and doesn’t move around. I can easily control him when we are on our walks especially being a 27kg dog it’s great to have a harness that can support him! Bear loves his new Bisous harness and leash! We finally found a harness that fits Bear properly with the ultimate comfort. Hi, sorry it took so long. Our Abby, tomboy and backyard warrior, was not presentable, we had to go to the groomer first to show her off in her awesome new harness. The first one I bought was a little too big, all my fault, should have measured properly. The new one fits perfect and Abby truly loves it ( and her mums). Thank you very much!
